In 1943 Robert's son-in-law, Bill Simon, opened a retail enterprise, providing the best selection of luggage & travel trunks in the entire Northwest. Over the next 56 years, Portland Luggage Company established the standard for quality brand names, the latest styles & designs, and the highest level of customer service. In addition, Portland Luggage offered the most competitive pricing of any luggage store in the country.
Bill's children, third-generation family members Wendy & Gregg, next maintained their grandfather & father's tradition. Since Wendy's retirement, Gregg continues to operate Oregon's largest luggage, business case & travel goods store, featuring the West Coast's most complete selection of brands, products & services.
