All Customers - We apologize for any inconvenience it may cause, but we are not able to ship to PO boxes. While we strive to fulfill your order as quickly as possible, there is a possibility of up to 3 days processing time. We are a brick and mortar business with conventional hours. Questions are answered, internet orders are processed, etc. between Monday and Friday, 9AM - 5PM PST. Please understand that if you select expedited shipping between Friday morning and Sunday, it may not be possible for us to fulfill this request. Stock outages may cause extra processing time and also prevent expedited shipping. If you choose to receive the product with another shipping method, we will, of course, refund the difference in shipping costs. In the case of stock outages we may have your order sent directly from the manufacturer.
In rare cases, items that have to be drop-shipped from the manufacturer can take 2 weeks or more to fulfill.
International Customers -
There may be tarriffs, taxes, fees, etc with importing an item into your country. The shipping price you get from us only reflects the estimated price that we will have to pay to ship the item(s) and does not include any other importation fees you may incur. We do not have any information on what charges there may or not may not be for any countries. Contact your local government for more information. Portland Luggage is not able to mark packages as gifts or to declare a value other than what we are charging for the item before shipping costs. Signatures may be required on your shipment.
Shipping Costs -
The shipping costs are calculated through a combination of weight, size, location and shipping method. Our website attempts to communicate with UPS on each package to get an accurate price. Occasionally, the price calculated by the website is incorrect. This happens almost exclusively with international shipments and always in the customer's favor. In this case, Portland Luggage reserves the right to withhold shipment until the remainder of the shipping fee can be collected. The customer is under no obligation to buy if we can not ship at the price quoted at check-out. We sincerely apologize and make every attempt to ensure that the shipping costs are as accurate as possible when it is in our power to do so.
In rare instances, the website will not calculate a shipping price when there is shipping to be paid (on expedited orders, international orders, orders under $75, etc). This is usually when the shipping information has been filled out incorrectly or in a manner in which UPS can not recognize and therefore can not calculate a cost. If this occurs, please double-check your shipping address. This may also happen when UPS servers can not be contacted. In this instance, Portland Luggage reserves the right to withhold shipment until the shipping fee can be collected. The customer is under no obligation to complete the order in this instance.
While we make every effort to insure that shipping costs are correct, sometimes things outside of our control occur which cause shipping prices either to be incorrect or not present when necessary. Please understand that we are not able to honor incorrect or absent shipping prices.
Free Shipping Fine Print -
Portland Luggage strives to offer free shipping where possible. To qualify for free shipping on an order, the order must be for $75 or more and the shipping address must be in the continental United States. Because of manufacturer restrictions, we are not able to offer free shipping on Tumi and Ghurka. When an order contains both items from manufacturers who allow free shipping as well as items from manufacturers that do not, we must charge shipping. If you see the following icon next to an item, it is eligible for free shipping
