It was 1916 when, Robert Ganapole, began manufacturing packing trunks in a small corner of the Portland Waterfront. Exceeding the customer's expectations of quality and price were the cornerstones that built his business.
In 1943, son-in-law Bill Simon opened a retail operation providing the best selection of luggage and travel trunks in the Northwest.
